]]> Shadow Pressings hits its stride with its third release, featuring Detroit’s legendary Mike Agent X Clark. As a pivotal figure in the Beatdown movement, Mike’s contributions to the house scene are nothing short of iconic, and this new EP further cements his legacy.

The title track, In the House Club, leads with a minimal yet powerful vibe, featuring the spoken word artistry of fellow Detroiter Dr. Tinglefingers. With its raw, unpolished edge, the track embodies the authentic Detroit house sound—a stripped-back approach that gives every element room to shine. On remix duties, Jimpster takes the original and enhances it with a deeper groove, layering in Rhodes stabs and warm textures while preserving the track’s core essence.

On the flip side, Get Up is a tribute to the bass-heavy, stripped-back sounds reminiscent of Ron Hardy’s sets at the Muzic Box. Its hypnotic simplicity draws you in, creating an irresistible pulse.
